I hired Ketron Custom Builders in 2007 to do a whole house renovation and significant addition to my Victorian Village American four square home.  It was a complex project of significant scope, and my desire was to return the home to its original arts and crafts splendor (with the Victorian Village Commission approving all changes) and modernize, adding a luxury kitchen and second floor master suite.  After that first experience... I can't imagine ever using a different contractor.  The wood work in the addition so closely matches the original woodwork that it is almost impossible to tell them apart, and the quality of the construction has stood the test of time.  They went the extra mile on each detail, and looked for creative solutions at each step of the project.  In the years that followed Ketron has completed a screened-in three season room (with removable glass windows) and completed numberous smaller projects.  Ketron's attention to detail, creativity and integrity are excellent and the customer service I recieve from all the members of the team (from owner to the most junior member of the team) have frankly spoiled me.  I always feel like thier #1 priority, and know I will get 100 percent on each job.

Ketron Custom Builders seamlessly integrated a kitchen, mudroom and master closet into our 100+ year old home.  They were attentive to even the smallest of details.  For example, they installed new floor boards that matched the old ones exactly and built door and window mouldings with the same profile as the old ones.  

I felt comfortable having all thier employees in my home.

They were very knowledgeable and informative on every conceivable topic and I appreciated the input and assistance they offered throughout the project.  They offered exemplary guidance on everything from flooring and light fixtures to whole house sound systems and gutters.

We chose Ketron Custom Builders because we had an old house renovation that needed a lot of attention to detail.  We liked that Travis and the team was very "hands on" and we always felt like we were a priority.  All the people working on our project (including the subs) were all really good people.  I trusted them to be in my home when we were living there and they were very respectful of our property.  The neighbors were even impressed with how clean they kept the work site.  That care and dedication went a long way.  We had an 11 month project that was extensive and we really wanted the experience to be as painless as possible.  It was!  We couldn't be happier with the outcome and now that we are almost a year from when we finished, we continue to talk to them and they are very responsive to anything we might need - no matter how small.  Overall, a great experience.

Ketron Custom Builders has completed several home remodeling projects for us.  Each project has not only added incredible beauty to our home but has been completed in  a timely manner with the utmost professionalism and responsibility in every phase of the job.  

Our latest project has been most spectacular and exceeded even our highest expectations.  Ketron Custom Builders completely remodeled our master bath.  We had waited many years to update our master bath and wanted something really great but did not really know where to start.  Travis and Shari and the team guided us through every step to create the bath of our dreams.  They added so many custom touches to make our bath truly special and unique.

In addition to this project they updated our basement and totally created a warm and inviting enviroment in what was previously a seldom used space.

Ketron Custom Builders did a wondereful job.  They were responsible for moving everything out of my house and replacing all the carpet, hardwood and tile floors.  When the work was complete they moved everything back into the house.  Everyone that was in my home was very professional.  The workmanship was excellent....  They explained the work in detail prior to starting the job.  I would highly recommend this company.

I am pleased to recommend Ketron Custom Builders for both new construction and remodeling. Having been in the home building business for over 35 years I have  had ample opportunity to observe companies perform at virtually every level of competence from best to worst.

During a 10 month period from 2006 to 2007, I hired Ketron Custom Builders to manage the total renovation of and addition to a 125 year old Italianate architecture residence in the German Village Historical District of Columbus, Ohio.

 We would highly recommend Ketron Custom Builders. Travis and his team are very skilled, use solid construction practices and are very customer focused. They also manage the customer's budget well

The responsibilities assumed by Ketron Custom Builders included:

• Close interaction with the project architect
• Competitive bidding for all elements of the project
• Coordination on municipal permits and inspections
• Direct responsibility for demolition, rough framing, trim carpentry and numerous other areas
• Construction management of all trade contractors including concrete, roofing, all mechanical systems, insulation, drywall, paint, landscaping, etc.
• Accounting services including budget preparation, monthly billing, auditing and payments processing including retainage and summary reports.

 My relationship was primarily limited to Travis Ketron, owner of the company. Having now completed this major renovation of the home now valued at approximately $1,500,000.00 I am extremely pleased with the work and service provided by KCB. Throughout the duration of the project Travis Ketron and his team consistently demonstrated professionalism qualities seldom experienced in home building. Their overall quality was exceptional and in almost all instances done correct the first time. Their timely production and consistent productivity allowed the project to be completed virtually on schedule.

We engaged Ketron Construction to repair our exterior and interior wall and portions of the roof that had been compromised by water damage. Much of the damage was not visible. As the plans for repair unfolded, Travis Ketron and his team kept us continually informed of the progress.

Travis took many pictures of the damage that allowed us to fully understand the extent of the damage. The plans for repairs were always discussed with us in advance. Many times during the repair process, Travis met with us to review the budget to be certain that he and his team were on time and on budget.

We signed a contract with Travis Ketron after reviewing the most detailed estimate we received from the seven contractors interviewed. He began demolition less than 2 weeks later. Ten months later he presented us with a completed project.

Excellence is what we received from this construction team. Not only were we promised a job done to our wishes we were promised a job that we would be happy with once they were done! He said 'what ever you want us to do we'll get the job done" …and they did. I never felt as if my idea of what I wanted for our home was out of the question, too demanding, far sighted, or ridiculous. They respected our desires and our vision and helped us attain it with encouragement and experienced support.
